Busy times, issue 11 is out, Bristol Expo was last weekend, London MCM expo is this one coming. Am i ready for it? AHAHA! nards.<\/div>\n

Yeah,\u00a0perhaps\u00a0a brief review of events is in order.<\/div>\n
Wednesday last week i collected the new issue 11 ‘the brown issue’ from\u00a0the\u00a0printers in york. It’s so pretty! Woo! Now the process of “making\u00a0everyone\u00a0have comics” can begin! Okay so\u00a0maybe\u00a0putting them for sale in the webshop would be an important step (shhh)<\/div>\n
Anyhoo.<\/div>\n
Last\u00a0weekend\u00a0was the Bristol Small-press\u00a0Comic\u00a0Expo, and after much frantic doing stuff me, Clare, Gareth (Mavis had a bad case of lurg and had to remain very still in Coventry) and a big stack of comics and posters\u00a0and tiny “first tea company”\u00a0ID cards rolled in to Bristol at about half ten on friday night and went to Sarah and Vicky’s to crash. And then stayed up ’til the\u00a0wee small hours\u00a0drinking\u00a0tea and wine and chatting like we\u00a0haven’t\u00a0seen each other in about a year. If this shows\u00a0anything\u00a0it’s that Sarah and Vicky are lovely and that\u00a0selling\u00a0comics requires much\u00a0less\u00a0concentration than\u00a0operating\u00a0heavy machinery.<\/div>\n
The expo was mighty fun: I caught up with people, sold out of one of me poster designs, ate Chamonkee’s sandwiches, picked up a copy of nanniebim’s latest mephistos, and enlisted far too many civilians into a fictional tea-related\u00a0fighting\u00a0force. Win! Clearly i now have to draw even more tea-related stuff but hey, it’s almost like i enjoy it.<\/div>\n

This coming weekend is the MCM expo in London if you fancy dropping round to say hello. Stuff is printed, bags are\u00a0being\u00a0packed, and yet more ranks have been added to the first tea company. I’ve got me 2 tables – 33 and 34 on the maps below (not 32-34, which was a typo of almost terrifying awesomeness … ) and this\u00a0time\u00a0I’m\u00a0aiming\u00a0to be awake and drawing and everything!<\/p>\n
