Toiling away at stuff for the Lincoln Steampunk Asylum so mainly off line at the moment (well, trying to be), but upcoming things will be:
This coming weekend is a plethora of comic convention-ery. Whilst I (I feel a little like this is a magic trick now that I come to typing it) will be making a doctor geof/fetishman stall up at the Glasgow collectormania, my assistant, the youthful Mavis, will be simultaneously running a stall at the Birmingham comic show! Drum roll please!
Only nine days left of the Great Steampunk Exhibition at Kew Bridge Steam Museum, wrapping up on the 31st August 2011. I'm sure it's upping sticks and moving somewhere though …
It's pretty much sold out now but the Lincoln Steampunk Asylum is just under 3 weeks away. For which I have numerous plans and hopefully enough time.
For the next week I'm trying to hammer my first steampunk "collected works" together in a format that pleases me: in truth I know what the format is but it needs filling with lovely bubbly new stuffs, all of which of course needs drawing and colouring and then defacing in a way that pleases me. If it all works to plan I may have actually produced steampunk pornography, which is not to say "people doing it but covered in cogs" (ow! mind you, if you like that …) but something else. Oh yes.
After which I need to finish the next incarnation of the First Tea Company Travelling Museum! Yes, the Museum is back after it's 8 month hiatus, bigger and better than ever. Tink and Elsie are very kindly providing some corridor space in the basement of Lincoln's Bazaar Eclectica. All I need to do is not think about how many hinges need attaching to things.
And there is even another plan for Lincoln but that really is terribly time critical, though I promise I shall keep you all posted if I pull it off. (yes, fnurr, but no, it's not a fnurr thing)
Right, back to drawing tentacles
