January! Why are you so short!? WHY?!!

So yeah, clearly i didn't get enough done. Anyhoo, I've nailed a couple of deadlines, finally caught up with my laundry (towards the end it had more than hint of timorous beastie to it), worked on the museum, did some commissions, volunteered for some more stuff, wrestled a bear? No, not sure that happened., but anyway, as January wanes we find February heaving in to view and I'm back off out to events and that. And they're absolute stormers!

It's sold out i think but 4th-5th february is the SFX magazine weekender! 'tis a shame that museum mk2 isn't complete in time but nonetheless me and the unstoppable Mavis are crashing with the charming Genki Gear guys (I have 2 new favourite mugs, one of which is a beautiful Genki-Gear unicorn) at an event that really does have a mighty line-up including both Mr Rankin and Mr Pratchett.

Weekend after, the 12th feb, is the annual Skin Two North Ball! Yep, "the UK’s biggest fetish festival outside of London" is once again at the loft in Leeds. And like last year I'll be selling comics and nonsense at the daytime fetish market and then in the evening i'll be a-portraiting for the gathered cognoscenti.

AND THEN … after a brief interlude for my now-regular birthday barbarian party (yep, it's not complicated) … there's the Cardiff International Comics Expo on saturday the 26th of February!
